H10 Palacio Colomera hotel photographs we present in this post are part of our photography service for hotels. These images we show here belong to the photoshoting we took for this new H10 Hotel in the city of Córdoba.

H10 Palacio Colomera hotel photographs

The H10 Palacio Colomera is a hotel located in the former Casa Colomera, built in 1928, which was the palace of the counts of the same name. Located in the central Plaza de las Tendillas, the hotel project has sought to recover the palatial atmosphere of the old building.

Photoshooting

We have taken a selection of interior shots and two exterior shots of the hotel. On this occasion, we wanted to show shots of the different types of rooms, the impressive atrium, the sunset over the upper terrace and the main façade of the former palace.

Photographic technique

In interior shots we want to reflect as closely as possible the atmosphere the potential client will find. For this reason, we consider different elements. Play with the straight and curved lines, the elements of the frame to capture the spaciousness of the room, the lighting, the views …

In addition, whenever possible, we use natural and ambient light, working with extra lighting in the darkest areas of some shots. To get the right light, we previously study the most appropriate light time to shoot each photograph.

Photograpic Edition

All photoshooting for H10 Palacio Colomera was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment. The photographs were shot and checked during the development of the photosoohting. The editing work were developed in a second phase, in our head offices.

One of the most difficult aspects to control in indoor photography based on ambient light is the control of the indoor and outdoor temperature, as well as the different light temperatures offered by artificial lighting points (incandescent bulbs, LEDs …). We place particular emphasis on this aspect of photo editing because it enables a balanced and coherent atmosphere from a lighting point of view.
