H10 Palacio Colomera photographs selection
The H10 Palacio Colomera is housed in the old Casa Colomera, built in 1928 to serve as a palace for the counts of Colomera. Located in the central Plaza de las Tendillas, the hotel plan aimed to recreate the palatial atmosphere of the old building.
Photoshooting
For this post we have made a selection of the photographs of the shooting we took for H10 Palacio Colomera. We selected several images of the facade of this old palace, some photos of the incredible lobby, an image of the “El Patio” restaurant with a breakfast set up located in the elegant atrium of the hotel and a night photograph of the pool.
Photographic technique
In exterior photographs, it is essential to have adequate atmospheric conditions so that the facilities can be presented in the most correct way possible. Natural light, exterior light points and the composition of the area to be photographed are good allies to obtain that photographic result.
In interior shots we seek to reflect as closely as possible the atmosphere that the potential client will find. For this reason, we use, as far as possible, the existing ambient light in the space to be photographed.
Photograpic Edition
All photoshooting for H10 Palacio Colomera was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment. The photographs were shot and checked during the development of the photosoohting. The editing work were developed in a second phase, in our head offices.
One of the most difficult aspects to control in indoor photography based on ambient light is the control of the indoor and outdoor temperature, as well as the different light temperatures offered by artificial lighting points (incandescent bulbs, LEDs …). We place particular emphasis on this aspect of photo editing because it enables a balanced and coherent atmosphere from a lighting point of view.
We hope you enjoyed the photographs of this old palace converted into a hotel we share here today.
