New photographs for Botánico hotel Gran Luxe that we took during the photoshooting we have been working on this summer. The hotel has carried out a complete refurbishment of its facilities, modernising them and giving greater prominence to natural light. The technological investment has also been considerable in the major renovation carried out to adapt to digital needs. It was a pleasure for us to collaborate in updating the image bank of this 5-star luxury hotel in Tenerife, which opened its doors on 1 September.

New photographs for Botánico hotel Gran Luxe

The Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden is a 5-star Grand Luxury hotel, located in Puerto de la Cruz, on the island of Tenerife. During the 17 months that the hotel has been closed to the public, it has made a significant investment in the refurbishment of its facilities and in the technological area.

Surrounded by 25,000 m2 of gardens, in this luxury hotel guests will find all the comforts to live a unique experience. In this spectacular 5-star hotel you can enjoy, among other things, the best international cuisine, luxurious facilities and a private collection of contemporary art signed by renowned artists such as César Manrique, Oscar Domínguez, Pepe Dámaso and Néstor de la Torre.
The Hotel Botánico is also a member of “The Leading Hotels of the World“, a guarantee that recognises it as one of the best hotels in the world.

Photoshooting

The photoshooting we took for the Hotel Botánico, includes a wide range of photographs showing the complete refurbishment undertaken for the reopening of the hotel.
For this second post we have selected photographs of some of the renovated rooms, the Bar Hall with new floor and furniture and the lobby with its new aquarium with 10 jellyfish that promote relaxation.

Photographic technique

The photographs shown in this post belong to the interior facilities of the Hotel Botánico. In our photographs we always try to work with natural and ambient light.
We take photographs with hardly any supporting light to ensure that the images reflect a great naturalness. The aim is for each of our photographs to show, as faithfully as possible, the different renovated facilities of this 5-star hotel.

Photographic edition

All photo shooting was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment. The photographs were shot and checked in situ, but the edition work was carried out at our head office.
One of the most difficult aspects to control in indoor photography based on ambient light is the control of the interior and exterior temperature. We place special emphasis on this aspect of photographic editing because it allows us to offer a balanced and coherent atmosphere from lighting point of view.
