Photographs for H10 Big Sur

Located on the seafront, next to the port of Los Cristianos, the H10 Big Sur is a Boutique Hotel specialising in holidays for adults. Refurbished and featuring an elegant interior design with vintage and Mediterranean touches, the hotel benefits from a wide range of dining options, two Chill-Out Terraces with sea views and a Despacio Beauty Centre.

Photoshooting

In the last photoshooting we did for this hotel in Tenerife we photographed the facilities that had been recently renovated to update their image bank.
In this post we share photographs of some of its rooms and common areas.

Photographic technique

In the photographs we show in this post of the different indoors areas, we used, whenever possible, ambient and natural lighting. The aim is to reflect the scene as closely as possible to what we would see with our own eyes.

Photograpic Edition

All photo shooting was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment. The photographs were shot and checked in situ, but the edition work was carried out at our head office.

One of the most difficult aspects to control in indoor photography based on ambient light is the control of the interior and exterior temperature. We place special emphasis on this aspect of photographic editing because it allows us to offer a balanced and coherent atmosphere from lighting point of view.
