The 5 star Grand Luxury The One Barcelona hotel is located in the city of Barcelona, in a privileged area, close to “La Pedrera” or Passeig de Gràcia, and stands out for its sophisticated interior design that breathes elegance and distinction. The use of soft tones, with some splashes of colour provided by works of art and upholsteries, natural light and fine materials such as special marble and wood, all play an important role, creating an atmosphere of timeless luxury. The project for this hotel was executed in collaboration with prestigious designer Jaime Beriestain.

Photoshooting

During this last report we photographed different facilities of the hotel that have been renovated. In this post we show you some of them: lobby bar, the “plunge pool” located on the top floor and the impressive “Mood Rooftop Bar”, with panoramic views of the city.

Photographic Technique

In our photoshootings we use, as far as possible, natural and ambient lighting. On this occasion, in practically all the photographs, we followed this maxim. In addition, in outdoor photographs, the favourable weather made our work easier.

Photographic Edition

All the photo shooting was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment. The photographs were shot and checked during the development of the photoshooting. The editing work was developed in a second phase, in our base center.

One of the most difficult aspects of interior photography based on ambient light is the control of indoor and outdoor temperature. We put special emphasis on this aspect of photo editing because it allows us to offer a balanced and coherent atmosphere from the lighting point of view.
