Food photography is one of Roger Méndez’s passions. These types of images are used to capture the “flavour”, the colour, the form and texture of foods.
The choice of lighting and composition of the dish play a vital role.
Speed is also key to taking good photographs, e.g. a steaming bowl of soup, fresh salad, ice cream, etc. Occasionally, in addition to photographs of the restaurant itself, clients also request images of some of the dishes they serve.
These types of photographs require meticulous post-editing to achieve excellent end results.
