Photographs for H10 Port Vell hotel belong to one of the photo shootings we made for H10 Hotels.
H10 Port Vell is an exclusive four-star superior hotel located next to Barcelona’s harbour, only metres away from the picturesque Born district. The hotel is set in a historical building and features a simple, elegant interior design.

Photoshooting

The photographs taken for the hotel H10 Port Vell are part of our photography service for hotels.

During the photo shooting we photographed different facilities of the hotel. In this post we show pictures of the lobby, reception and the Hollwywood restaurant. In all the photographs we wanted to reflect the elegance and harmonious combination of elements of the hotel interior design.

Photographic Technique

In interior photography we respect, as far as possible, the ambient light in the space to be photographed. In some of the photographs we show at this post, we also use supporting light to highlight certain areas of the photographs.
Our objective is to reflect, as closely as possible, the atmosphere that the potential client would find when visiting the different facilities of this hotel.

Photograpic Edition

All photo shooting was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment. The photographs were shot and checked in situ, but the edition work was carried out at our head office.

One of the most difficult aspects to control in indoor photography based on ambient light is the control of the interior and exterior temperature, as well as the different light temperatures offered by the artificial lighting points (incandescent bulbs, LEDs, etc.) . We place special emphasis on this aspect of photographic editing because it allows us to offer a balanced and coherent atmosphere from the point of view of lighting.

The 5 star Grand Luxury The One Barcelona hotel is located in the city of Barcelona, in a privileged area, close to “La Pedrera” or Passeig de Gràcia, and stands out for its sophisticated interior design that breathes elegance and distinction. The use of soft tones, with some splashes of colour provided by works of art and upholsteries, natural light and fine materials such as special marble and wood, all play an important role, creating an atmosphere of timeless luxury. The project for this hotel was executed in collaboration with prestigious designer Jaime Beriestain.

Photoshooting

During this last report we photographed different facilities of the hotel that have been renovated. In this post we show you some of them: lobby bar, the “plunge pool” located on the top floor and the impressive “Mood Rooftop Bar”, with panoramic views of the city.

Photographic Technique

In our photoshootings we use, as far as possible, natural and ambient lighting. On this occasion, in practically all the photographs, we followed this maxim. In addition, in outdoor photographs, the favourable weather made our work easier.

Photographic Edition

All the photo shooting was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment. The photographs were shot and checked during the development of the photoshooting. The editing work was developed in a second phase, in our base center.

One of the most difficult aspects of interior photography based on ambient light is the control of indoor and outdoor temperature. We put special emphasis on this aspect of photo editing because it allows us to offer a balanced and coherent atmosphere from the lighting point of view.

The photoshooting consisted of taking pictures of the different facilities of the hotel that had been recently renovated. In this post we show a selection of images of the Dionissos Restaurant, the Bar “La Llum”, the lobby and the hotel reception.

Photographs for H10 Urquinaona Plaza hotel belong to one of the photo shootings we made for H10 Hotels. The H10 Urquinaona Plaza is set in a late 19th-century building that has been perfectly restored. Its modern interior design contrasts with Novecentista details that have been preserved and that give it a very elegant look.

The Spa photographs we have selected for this article are a small selection of images that we have taken for different hotels. We photograph their different spa facilities. The selected hotels are the following: GF Victoria in Tenerife, Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real in Fuerteventura, Hotel Las Madrigueras Golf & Spa in Tenerife, H10 Andalucía Plaza in Marbella, H10 Casa del Mar in Mallorca, H10 Rubicon Palace in Lanzarote, Aguas de Ibiza, Royal Garden Villas in Tenerife, Seaside Palm Beach in Gran Canaria, The One Barcelona, The One Palacio da Anunciada in Lisbon.

Photoshooting

The photographs taken in 4 and 5 star hotels belong to different areas of their Spa facilities. We photographed water circuit, indoor pools, treatment rooms, rest areas, as well as spa facilities located in outdoor areas of some of the hotels mentioned before.

Photographic Technique

Spa photograph is generally framed within interior photography. In this type of images, the composition of the elements, the framing, the lighting play a fundamental role…

Before each shot, it’s necessary to prepare the composition of each of the elements that will make up the shot to find the balance. In addition, in some photographs, we need to use extra light to be able to illuminate the darkest rooms. We also play with ambient light and elements such as candles to reflect a more intimate and welcoming space.

Photograpic Edition

All photographs was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment. The photographs were shot and checked in situ, but the edition work was carried out at our base center. With a careful editing of each of the photographs we guarantee an optimal resoult.

Photographic Technique

In our photoshootings we use, as far as possible, natural and ambient lighting. On this occasion, in almost all photographs, we follow this maxim. In the photograph of Somni restaurant it was necessary to work with additional lighting to highlight some areas.

Photographed areas

During the hotel photoshooting we took general photographs so that the potential client can realistically appreciate each of the facilities. In addition to general angles, we made also photographs of details that help and complement each hotel facilitie.

Hotel Photography

We share with you new photographs we took for H10 Madison hotel, located in Barcelona.

The terrace has spectacular views of the Barcelona cathedral. We work with daylight shots and we also take advantage of ambient lighting from the terrace to take night shots. We also add a low angle photograph of the atrium of the hotel and one of the views of one of its rooms balcony.
