With a long history, the 4-star Superior Hotel Saratoga was the first urban hotel built in 1962 in the heart of the city of Palma. A reference hotel on the Mallorcan island that, year after year of constant work and innovation, has been growing and renewing itself, adapting to the needs of each client.

For this post, we have selected a new series of images of facilities that we made. The shots belong to the rooms. The images we share in this post are interior shots.

Photographic Technique

In the photographs we show in this post of Hotel Saratoga, we used, whenever possible, ambient lighting.
The aim is to reflect the scene as closely as possible to what we would see with our eyes. In some shots it was necessary to use support lighting to highlight certain areas.

Photo editing

The entire photoshooting was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment. The photographs were shot and checked on site, but the editing was done at our base.
One of the most difficult aspects of indoor photography based on ambient light is the control of indoor and outdoor temperature.
We put special emphasis on this aspect of photo editing because it allows us to provide a balanced and coherent atmosphere from a lighting point of view.

Located on the seafront of the stunning Santa Ponça beach, the H10 Casa del Mar is a four-star hotel that benefits from a full range of services. Its main attractions include a large swimming pool and sun lounger area, a restaurant, Snack Bar and Chill-Out terrace with infinity pool.

Photoshooting

In the last photo shooting we did for this 4 star hotel H10 Casa del Mar we worked on photographs of different hotel facilities to update its image bank.
In the post we share photographs of some of its rooms, its restaurant and the hotel’s upper Chill Out terrace.

Photographic technique

In the photographs we show in this post of the different areas (indoors and outdoors), we used, whenever possible, ambient and natural lighting. The aim is to reflect the scene as closely as possible to what we would see with our own eyes.

Photograpic Edition

All photo shooting was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment. The photographs were shot and checked in situ, but the edition work was carried out at our head office.

One of the most difficult aspects to control in indoor photography based on ambient light is the control of the interior and exterior temperature. We place special emphasis on this aspect of photographic editing because it allows us to offer a balanced and coherent atmosphere from lighting point of view.

The shots belong to one of the Spa cabins, the water circuit and the swimming pool of the Spa. There are also photographs of other facilities such as the gym and the Balinese bed area in the main pool of the hotel. So you will find in this post interior shots and also exterior photographs.

The Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden is a 5-star Grand Luxury hotel, located in Puerto de la Cruz, on the island of Tenerife.
The hotel has carried out a complete refurbishment of its facilities, modernising them and giving greater prominence to natural light. The technological investment has also been considerable in the major renovation carried out to adapt to digital needs.
Surrounded by 25,000 m2 of gardens, in this luxury hotel guests will find all the comforts to live a unique experience. In this spectacular 5-star hotel you can enjoy, among other things, the best international cuisine, luxurious facilities and a private collection of contemporary art signed by renowned artists such as César Manrique, Oscar Domínguez, Pepe Dámaso and Néstor de la Torre.

Photoshooting

The photoshooting we took for the Hotel Botánico, includes a wide range of photographs showing the complete refurbishment undertaken for the reopening of the hotel.
For this post we have selected some photographs of the presidential suite.

Photographic technique

The photographs shown in this post belong to the interior facilities of the Hotel Botánico. In our photographs we always try to work with natural and ambient light.
We take photographs with hardly any supporting light to ensure that the images reflect a great naturalness. The aim is for each of our photographs to show, as faithfully as possible, the different renovated facilities of this 5-star hotel.
