During the photo shooting we photographed different facilities of the hotel. In this post we show different photographs of interior areas, with shots of the Art Gallery room and different suites of this 5 star hotel. In all the photographs we wanted to reflect the elegance of this hotel.

In interior photography we respect, as far as possible, the ambient light in the space to be photographed. In some of the photographs we show at this post, we also use supporting light to highlight certain areas of the photographs.
Our aim is to reflect, as faithfully as possible, the atmosphere that the potential client will find when touring the different facilities of this hotel.

All photo shooting was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment.

One of the most difficult aspects to control in indoor photography based on ambient light is the control of the interior and exterior temperature, as well as the different light temperatures offered by the artificial lighting points (incandescent bulbs, LEDs, etc.) . We place special emphasis on this aspect of photographic editing because it allows us to offer a balanced and coherent atmosphere from the point of view of lighting.

The Spa photographs we have selected for this article are a small selection of images that we have taken for different hotels. We photograph their different spa facilities. The selected hotels are the following: GF Victoria in Tenerife, Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real in Fuerteventura, Hotel Las Madrigueras Golf & Spa in Tenerife, H10 Andalucía Plaza in Marbella, H10 Casa del Mar in Mallorca, H10 Rubicon Palace in Lanzarote, Aguas de Ibiza, Royal Garden Villas in Tenerife, Seaside Palm Beach in Gran Canaria, The One Barcelona, The One Palacio da Anunciada in Lisbon.

Photoshooting

The photographs taken in 4 and 5 star hotels belong to different areas of their Spa facilities. We photographed water circuit, indoor pools, treatment rooms, rest areas, as well as spa facilities located in outdoor areas of some of the hotels mentioned before.

Photographic Technique

Spa photograph is generally framed within interior photography. In this type of images, the composition of the elements, the framing, the lighting play a fundamental role…

Before each shot, it’s necessary to prepare the composition of each of the elements that will make up the shot to find the balance. In addition, in some photographs, we need to use extra light to be able to illuminate the darkest rooms. We also play with ambient light and elements such as candles to reflect a more intimate and welcoming space.

Photograpic Edition

All photographs was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment. The photographs were shot and checked in situ, but the edition work was carried out at our base center. With a careful editing of each of the photographs we guarantee an optimal resoult.

This is one of the photoshootings we really wanted to publish here. This is a selection of photographs for the Boutique Hotel H10 Duque de Loulé located in Lisbon.

The H10 Duque de Loulé is an exclusive Boutique Hotel, opened in 2015, located in a historic building in the center of Lisbon. Carefully renovated and decorated by the interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, its beautiful 18th century façade has been preserved. The interior design of this hotel combine traditional Portuguese elements with other modern and functional ones.

Photoshooting

The photoshooting we took for this boutique hotel was extensive and accompanied by detail and lifestyle shots. All the photographs taken are part of our photography service for hotels
For this post we have made a selection of photographs of hotel rooms, restaurants and noble areas of the hotel.

In all the photographs we wanted to show the fusion of traditional Portuguese elements with other modern and functional ones.

Photographic Technique

In interior photography we seek to reflect as closely as possible the atmosphere that the potential client will find.
For this reason, we use, as far as possible, the existing ambient light in the space to be photographed.

Photograpic Edition

The photoshooting for H10 Duque de Loulé was made with Hasselblad equipment and cameras of medium format. During the weeks we worked at the hotel, the photographs were shot and checked on site. We always work on editing the images once we arrive at our base center.

One of the most difficult aspects in indoor photographs shot with ambient light is controlling the indoor and outdoor temperature, as well as the different light temperatures offered by artificial lighting points (incandescent bulbs, LEDs, etc.). For us, being able to control this aspect of photo editing is essential, since it allows us to offer a balanced, natural and coherent atmosphere from the point of view of lighting.

Hotel photoshooting for H10 Duque de Loulé

It’s an exclusive boutique hotel. Located in a historic building, right in the center of Lisbon. Renovated and decorated by the interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, its facade has been preserved, and its interior design fuses traditional Portuguese elements with modern ones.

Photoshooting

The photographs we show below belongs to some rooms of the hotel prepared with different set ups for meetings and events. We combine general angles with some detail ones. Also, we show you a cocktail setup photo on the top terrace of the hotel with an overlooking the city of Lisbon.

Photographic technique

In these photographs, as we have been doing in our latest shootings, we work with natural and ambient lighting. The lighting of the rooms was enough to photograph the different types without using additional light. The different points of light and candles provide a cozy atmosphere to the rooms. In the photograph of the upper terrace we use only natural light as it’s a daytime shot. The objective of using natural and ambient light in our photographs is to be able to reflect a scene as faithful as possible to what our eyes would see.

Photographed areas

We photograph different rooms of the hotel. We make some shots of general angles so that the potential client can get an idea of the room itself, as well as its different set up possibilities. These general angles are always accompanied by shorter ones in which we show details of decoration. For example, the detail photograph of one of the banquet tables in the Santa Marta room.
