New hotel photographs for Melia Jardines del Teide
Meliá Jardines del Teide is a 5-star hotel located 5 minutes from Playa del Duque, in Tenerife.
This 5-star resort has a unique architecture, 12,000 m2 of tropical gardens and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and Canary Island nature.
It also has “The Level”, Meliá’s most exclusive service, and different restaurants where guests can enjoy international and Mediterranean haute cuisine.
Photoshooting
The photoshooting we worked on earlier this last summer for this 5 star hotel Meliá Jardines del Teide includes different shots of its restaurants and some of its exclusive “The Level” services.
In this second post dedicated to this hotel we share several photographs of its restaurants and Blue Bar, both of its interiors and terraces, and a couple of shots of its exclusive spaces “The Level”.
Photographic technique
In the photographs you can see here, we use natural and ambient lighting. In this 5-star hotel, the brightness of the different areas (indoors and outdoors) makes it possible to work with almost no supporting light, so that the images reflect a great naturalness.
Photograpic Edition
All photo shooting was done with Hasselblad medium format cameras and equipment. The photographs were shot and checked in situ, but the edition work was carried out at our head office.
One of the most difficult aspects to control in indoor photography based on ambient light is the control of the interior and exterior temperature. We place special emphasis on this aspect of photographic editing because it allows us to offer a balanced and coherent atmosphere from lighting point of view.
